Sherrie Woodward

Afternoon & Weekend Show Host

Birthday: My birthday is 9-14-? (ha, ha) I think I look younger than I am, so let's leave it like that.

Family: My husband is Glen Woodward and I have two boys, Dylan (8) and Dawson (1)

Background: I was born in Stockton, CA and raised in a preachers home with four siblings...I had my first pony at age 8 and still love horses and all animals.  My parents are incredible parents and have been strong Christian influences in my life.  My three best friends growing up were, Meschell (Byrd) Benardy, Julie (McDonald) Short, and Brenda (Mabrey Mallory.  I have lived in Los Angeles, where Dylan was born, Alexandria, Louisiana and Nashville, TN where Dawson was born.  It's good to be home!

Radio Experience: I worked at KYCC from 1986 to 1995, and eight of those years were hosting the morning show.

Projects: I just finished a NEW Devotional Project which I'm very proud of.  And it is my desire that as you listen to this CD, you will be renewed and encouraged to continue on your quest for more of God through every season in your life...Click here to read more about it....

What's in your CD Player: Mary Alessi, Josh Grobin, Kids in Praise with Israel Houghton.

Dream Destination: To visit anywhere tropical with a beautiful beach/ocean.  To live: right here but a home in the country would be nice! Smile!

Favorite Dish: Guacamole, anything Mexican and pineapple is my favorite fruit.

Interests/Hobbies: I love music, singing, working with kids and gardening.

Best Friend: Jesus.

Favorite Shopping Location: Anywhere there is a good bargain!

Personal Note: It's good to be home...I love California, even with the huge poplulation, liberalism and crazy traffic that goes with it...there is no place like home.  I love KYCC and consider it a blessing to be a part of this great radio station!!!
