Most interesting artist he ever met: One day Morris Chapman stopped by the studio to thank me for playing his music. I was very impressed by his personable attitude. I also once had dinner with Mark Lowry a few years ago, He was a real riot.
Last Book Read: "Over the Top" by Zig Ziglar. I still love to read Louis L'Amour westerns. I have a whole collection to them, but don't have time to enjoy them, and still collecting.
Funniest thing that ever happened to him on the air: Back in 1972, my first year in broadcasting, I fell asleep while playing a taped program during a grave yard shift. I woke up at 5 in the morning to find that the program had been over for about a half an hour.
Most Inspirational thing about working at KYCC: Working with a wonderful Christian staff that not only love radio but care about the ministry. It is a great blessing to hear testimonies from listeners whose lives have been touched by our programming.
