Brent Randall
Midday and Kids & Company Host

Brent grew up in Fresno and moved to Stockton in 1976 to attend Christian Life College. Following graduation in 1980, he eventually joined the KYCC staff in 1985, working full time as Program Director until 2005.
He started Kids & Company in 1987, and continues to host the show every Saturday morning.
In 1990, as a concerned parent, he got involved in Children's Ministry, and has developed a strong passion for it in the years since. He served as Children's Pastor at Christian Life Center from 1994 to 2009, the last four of those years in a full time capacity.
He now travels across the country training Sunday School teachers and children's leaders. Additionally, he consults at Life Center Community Church in Stockton, has authored a book on storytelling and developed a series of Teacher Training DVD's.
Brent serves part-time at KYCC, fulfilling several duties, among them Midday Host weekdays from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
He and his wife Rachel have four children: Bethany (married to Jeff), Daniel (married to Jenny), Brian (soon to be married to Sarah) and Michelle (a 20-year-old whose claim to fame is singing "Jesus Loves Me" on Kids & Company when she was three, a version Brent still plays when he opens the show).
Brent is hopelessly addicted to tacos, and claims he could survive on them seven days a week. He is also known for his competitive style in Scrabble.
