Officials Dove Award Rules
1. How to enter or participate
1.1. Using the list of Dove Award nominees published in the March 2008 edition of AirWaves or on the www.kycc.org web site, contest participants (entrants) will fill out the Official Dove Award Contest Ballot for each of ten categories choosing the nominee the entrant thinks will WIN each Dove Award category. Only one nominee may be entered for each category. Each category carries its own point value, and Dove Award winners marked correctly on the ballot will earn the ballot the point value of the category. No points will be awarded for categories with incorrect guesses. Entrants can earn up to a maximum of 180 points per ballot. Only ONE ballot will be allowed per entrant.
1.2. Ballots must be submitted to KYCC by mail, fax, online at www.kycc.org or by personal delivery to be eligible; ballots may not be submitted online. The KYCC address and fax number are included on the official ballot.
2. Eligibility restrictions
2.1. Eligibility restrictions contained in the KYCC Official Rules Applicable to all Contests apply to this contest and are incorporated into these rules by reference.
2.2. Only one ballot per entrant may be submitted. Additional ballots by an entrant will be discarded without being scored.
3. Entry deadline dates
3.1. Ballots must be RECEIVED by KYCC no later than 12 noon Pacific Time on Wednesday, April 23, 2008. The GMA Music Awards (Dove Awards) will be presented Wednesday, April 23, 2008.
4. Prizes that can be won
4.1. One Grand Prize will be awarded. It will be two (2) full-event wristband tickets to Spirit West Coast in Monterey, California, July 30-August 2, 2008.
5. When prizes can be won
5.1. Grand prize winner will be announced on Friday, April 25, 2008. If
additional time is needed to calculate all ballot values, due to high contest entry volume, announcement of the winner may be delayed at the discretion of KYCC management.
5.2. Prizes will be awarded to winners within 30 days of selection of winners.
6. Extent, nature and value of the prizes
6.1. Grand Prize value:
6.1.1. Spirit West Coast have a Gate Price of $125 each; Pre-sale value is $93.
6.1.2. Compact Disc are promotional copies provided free to KYCC by record companies, and, therefore have no retail value.
7. Basis for valuation of the prizes
7.1. Retail cost to KYCC.
8. Time and means of selection of winners
8.1. The day following the announcement of the 2008 GMA Music Award winners, KYCC will begin calculating the point values of ballots submitted.
8.2. When all ballots have been calculated, the ballot with the most points will be considered the winning ballot. The entrant who submitted the winning ballot will be awarded the Grand Prize. The entrant who submitted the ballot with the next highest point value will be awarded the Runner Up prize.
9. Tie breaking procedures
9.1. In the event of a ballot point value tie, a drawing will be held to determine winner.
10. Rules disclosure procedures
10.1. Broadcast announcements required by 47 CFR Section 73.1216 will contain the following text:

THE 39th ANNUAL G-M-A DOVE AWARDS ARE WEDNESDAY, APRIL 23th, AND ALL BALLOTS ARE DUE BY NOON THAT DAY. 10.3. Broadcast schedule for official rules announcements: Approximately 4 times per day 24 hour ROS 3/10-23/08.
10.4. The Official Dove Award Contest Ballot is incorporated into theses contest rules by reference.
10.5. KYCC Official Rules Applicable to all Contests apply to this contest and are incorporated into these rules by reference.
