Spring Sharathon 2008
Spring Share A Thon Is Over, But We Still Need Your Help!
During KYCC's annual Spring Sharathon on air fundraising on Tuesday, April 15, through Thursday, April 17. KYCC received 257 pledges and raised over $48,000.00. This year's Sharathon took on a different twist. Our Annual Spring Sharathon is normally dedicated to enlisting NEW monthly supporters to help bridge the budget gap that usually develops in the spring. However, this spring, KYCC Radio has began constructing our NEW transmitting facility in Stockton, which will more than DOUBLE the number of potential listeners to 90.1 FM. Thus, we are truly "Strengthening the Valley", therefore we dedicated Spring Sharathon exclusively to raising the money necessary to purchase and install KYCC's new Stockton transmitter.
The goal for Spring Sharathon was $150,000.
